Whirleygig 1977
Bronze
38" high
This sculpture was made in 1977-78. It was constructed out of plaster shards and mold sections. When displayed, Whirleygig is intended to be lit symetrically and from the front, lending meaning to the form of construction. The center line of the sculpture is meant to help orient the viewer to the piece.
